Kia unveils previews of all new Niro HUV at Chicago Auto Show
First images of the Niro, Kia's all-new sporty and adaptable Hybrid Utility Vehicle (HUV) have been revealed.
The styling of the Kia Niro SUV incorporates the spaciousness and good looks of a compact SUV, with a sleek, aerodynamic body and subtly sculptured surfaces.
The HUV has an athletic stance illustrating raised rear haunches and high-mounted LED rear taillights. The slim character line and rear windows emphasise the car's sleek profile, while allowing greater room for the Niro's muscular wheel arches.
The first model to be based on Kia's novel eco-car platform - the all-new Kia Niro will provide sub-90 g/km CO 2 emissions rating (combined, based on the New European Driving Cycle) thanks to its all-new gasoline-electric hybrid powertrain.
At the 2016 Chicago Auto Show, the Niro HUV will be revealed to the world for the first time in February, and will demonstrate the considerable steps the brand has made in delivering practical and stylish vehicles that lead the way in low-emission motoring.
